Privacy Policy

How VirtuLove collects, uses, shares, protects, and deletes data.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how VirtuLove collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use our AI companion app, website, subscriptions, support, and related services.

VirtuLove is an adult-only AI companion service. Because conversations may be personal, we design the app around clear controls: memory pause, private mode, memory reset, data export, account deletion, and report tools.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: email address, user ID, display name, authentication metadata, account status, plan, subscription state, and account creation date.

Onboarding and preference information: age confirmation/date of birth, chosen companion, companion tone, memory preference, reminder preference, and related settings.

Companion content: prompts, chat messages, generated AI responses, companion memory summaries, generated image prompts, generated scene metadata, voice playback requests, report details, and safety signals.

Usage and device information: message and image counts, plan-limit usage, timestamps, app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, push notification token, IP address, device identifiers, operating system, app version, and server logs.

Payment information: subscription product, billing status, customer identifiers, invoices, cancellation state, and payment-provider metadata. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers.

Support and communications: messages you send to support, feedback, bug reports, moderation reports, and related contact details.

3. Sensitive and Personal Information

Your chats may reveal sensitive information about your emotions, relationships, sexuality, health, beliefs, or daily life. You choose what to share. Do not share information you do not want processed by an AI companion service.

We use sensitive content only to provide, personalize, secure, moderate, and support VirtuLove, or as otherwise described in this Policy. We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Use Information

To provide core features, including account access, companion chat, generated responses, voice playback, generated scenes, memory, reminders, usage counters, subscriptions, and customer support.

To personalize the experience, including companion tone, remembered facts, conversation continuity, and plan-specific features.

To keep the service safe, including age gating, moderation, abuse detection, crisis handling, report review, fraud prevention, security, debugging, and policy enforcement.

To operate the business, including analytics, reliability, billing, tax, accounting, legal compliance, dispute handling, and service improvement.

5. AI Processing and Providers

VirtuLove sends prompts, recent conversation context, memory summaries, and safety-relevant content to AI and moderation providers so they can generate responses, moderate content, create images, or produce voice playback.

Providers may include model, infrastructure, payment, authentication, analytics, crash-reporting, database, notification, and support vendors. We configure providers to process data for service purposes, not to sell your personal information.

6. Memory Controls

Companion memory uses summaries and selected facts to personalize future conversations. You can pause memory to stop new memory updates, use private mode to hide saved memories from AI prompts, or reset saved companion memory in Settings.

Memory reset removes saved memory summaries and facts. It may not remove chat transcripts, payment records, moderation reports, security logs, or records retained for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with service providers that help us provide hosting, Firebase authentication and database services, AI generation, moderation, image generation, voice generation, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, payments, and support.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, platform review, safety emergencies, fraud prevention, rights enforcement, business transfers, or to protect users, the public, or VirtuLove.

We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide VirtuLove, maintain your account, enforce limits, support subscriptions, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and operate safely.

You may request data export or account deletion in Settings. Some records may be retained after deletion when needed for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, legal compliance, safety, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or platform obligations.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can access plan and usage information, pause memory, enable private mode, reset memory, export account data, and delete your account in Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, deletion, correction, portability, restriction, objection, or information about how your data is used. California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including rights to know, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

To exercise privacy rights outside the app, contact privacy@dantesai.online. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

10. Children

VirtuLove is not for children and may not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

11. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, server-side controls, moderation, logging, and deletion tools. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Use

VirtuLove and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your location.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, laws, providers, or business practices change. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, store listing, or email when appropriate.
